Anne-Mie Devolder lives and works in Den Hague, the Netherlands (NL)
Anne-Mie Devolder is trained as an architect in Belgium and as urban designer in the Netherlands. After a period being a city planner for the city of Rotterdam, she programmed the architectural debate at the Rotterdam Art Council. She organized the following AIR events: the Railway Tunnel Site and Three Squares (1988), AIR-Alexander (1993), AIRr-Zuidwaarts/Southbound (1988-1999) and 'Breeze of AIR' (2001). She has curated various exhibitions on architecture, urbanism and landscape design. She is the initiator of what become the yearly Day of Architecture in the Netherlands since 1987. She has numerous publications to her name. From 1998 till 2003 she has been the director of the AIR foundation.
