Anne Nissinen began her musical training at the age of eight at the Helsinki Conservatory in Finland. In 1993 she moved to The United States to continue her studies in piano and harpsichord. While in the U. S., she earned a Bachelor of Music, summa cum laude, from Boise State University and a Master of Music as well as the Artist Diploma from Yale University. In 2001 Anne returned to Europe to attend The Royal Conservatory in The Hague and to complete the Advanced Certificate as well as another Bachelor degree in early music and historical performance practice. Her teachers included James Cook, Madeleine Forte, Richard Rephann and Patrick Ayrton. Anne has been the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards, and has also successfully taken part in several solo and chamber music competitions. Anne performs frequently in Holland and central Europe with different chamber ensembles and orchestras. Among those are included Quintus, La Primavera, The New Dutch Academy and The Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.

She has also participated in recordings with the latter two. She has appeared in festivals in

Barcelona, Utrecht, and Innsbruck among others
